*Disclaimer* Yes, we do use elastene content in our garments. This will appear in the stretchy material we use across the chest and shoulder straps. Please note this is COTTON Covered elastene to minimise direct contact of the synthetic element to the skin. There is no latex in any of our garments.
Furthermore, we sometimes use a ‘Jersey’ Fabric in our garments. This is the fabric that is stretchier. The Jersey, however, is a blend of Traced Organic Cotton, Organic Bamboo with a small percentage of elastene to give the fabric movement. Even so, we have only used this where we've needed to, and halved the composition of the garments between say, a Jersey fabric and a more rigid 100% Cotton or 100% Bamboo fabric.
We use these tools because, currently, they are simply essential to making undergarments. Without them, you would not be able to move freely in the lingerie. If a bra did not contain some stretch to it, simply inhaling and exhaling would be challenging, not to mention it would be the most uncomfortable thing you've ever worn in your life.
